The choir, composed of students and graduates of Ayvalık Sebahat Cihan Şişman Fine Arts High School, participated and won awards at various festivals such as the Turkey Polyphonic Choirs Festival and Izmir International Polyphonic Choirs Festival between 2019 and 2024. In June 2025, they gave a concert at Ayvalık Art Culture Education Foundation. Ayvalık Youth Choir loves to sing shoulder to shoulder and become a single breath. They aim to show the effects sound and breath can have on living beings when used at the right time and in the right place and how it can revive every emotion.
She started her music career in 1999 and continued in the Faculty of Education, Department of Music at Uludağ University. Between 2011 and 2013, she took part in Bursa World Music Association Polyphonic Choir as a chorist and instructor. Starting from 2016, she collaborated with Ayvalık Zeytin Çekirdekleri Orchestra and Chromas as an instructor and conductor. She received the Achievement Award for Program Richness and Diversity at the Izmir International Polyphonic Choirs Festival with the school choir she conducts. She participated in Başak Doğan and Panda van Proosdij's workshops at the World Choral Music Symposium in 2023. She is currently teaching viola and choir at Ayvalık Sebahat Cihan Şişman Fine Arts High School.
