KoroPopsesli

KoroPopsesli, started its formation process in 2020 with conductor Atilla Çağdaş Değer, pianist Levent Kent and coordinator Tuğba Kent and officially began its activities in 2022 due to the pandemic. Gökhan Kalender joined the conductor team of KoroPopsesli in 2023. The aim of KoroPopsesli, whose repertoire includes Turkish pop songs and songs adapted to Turkish, is to introduce participants to musical discipline while encouraging them to enjoy singing in a choir. In 2024, KoroPopsesli participated in the Choirs Meetup and Sing Together events organized by the State Polyphonic Choir and stepped into polyphony with pop songs. In 2024, they performed at the Izmir International Polyphonic Choirs Festival and received the Achievement Award in Instrument Accompanied Work Interpretation.
