Tangram was formed in 2017 by students at Bursa Uludağ University’s Music Education department. The ensemble aims to provide an artistic experience where musicality is at the forefront by performing popular songs with its original arrangements. Tangram hopes to help a cappella reach a larger audience and contribute to the development of the genre in Turkey.
Bilge Bahtiyar
Bilge Bahtiyar started her music education with piano at the age of 8. In 2012, she founded an ensemble to make a cappella music and started creating her first arrangements. In 2016, she was accepted to the Department of Music Education at Bursa Uludağ University. She contributed to the founding of Tangram and took over the management of the group. Bilge Bahtiyar, who also makes the arrangements of the ensemble, continues her work with Tangram.
